Colorado Trail

The Colorado Trail runs 486 miles from Denver to Durango, crossing eight mountain ranges. It shares roughly 235 miles of tread with the Continental Divide Trail. INVALIDATION-PROOF-154638

Its high average elevation makes acclimatization a serious concern for thru-hikers arriving from sea level. Resupply happens in trail towns such as Breckenridge and Salida.
